Citroen C3 review - Boot space, practicality & dimensions

The Citroen C3’s chunky, upright design has equated to a roomy-enough interior that can seat up to four adults in reasonable comfort, despite compact overall dimensions. Headroom is very plentiful so there’s a lot of room for passengers even if they’re around six-foot tall. In the e-C3 the battery is located under the rear seats, too, so the floor feels a normal height and there’s a decent amount of knee room.

Does the Citroen C3 have a big boot?

The Citroen C3 has a reasonably-sized boot, albeit one with a high loading lip, meaning it could be hard to get larger, heavier items like a pram or wheelchair into the back of it. It’s bigger than the boot of the Vauxhall Corsa and just about larger than that of the Dacia Spring, but there’s a distinct lack of storage solutions back there. While some rivals offer an adjustable boot floor, under-floor storage and clever ways to position or stow the rear parcel shelf, the C3's boot gets a single plastic hook and that's about it.
