Premium car brands don't always fare well in our Driver Power Customer Satisfaction survey, in part because buyers have higher expectations than they would for mainstream brands. Taking this into account makes Porsche’s first-place results in 2021, 2022 and 2023 all the more impressive.

While Porsche buyers may seem like a very happy bunch, reliability itself isn’t so impressive. 37% of Porsche buyers reported an issue with their car in the first year of ownership in 2023, so we can only imagine these issues were small and satisfactorily resolved. The Macan Electric itself is too new to have featured in the survey.

How safe is the Porsche Macan Electric?

The Porsche Macan Electric is yet to be tested by Euro NCAP, but it’s possible it will be in future, given that it’s set to be a popular car for the brand. It comes with a lot of safety assistance tech as standard, such as autonomous emergency braking, collision warning and avoidance and other systems, so we’d imagine it will fare well in this area.

What are the Porsche Macan Electric’s service intervals?

Porsche recommends servicing at one-year or 10,000-mile intervals, whichever comes first. During these services, Porsche will thoroughly inspect the vehicle and its tyres and perform any necessary maintenance tasks, such as replacing the cabin air filter or flushing and replacing brake fluid.

What is the warranty on the Porsche Macan Electric?

Every new Porsche comes with a three-year, unlimited-mile warranty. This is fairly standard across the industry, so isn’t anything to write home about, though while many manufacturers offer this with a mileage cap, at least Porsche’s is unlimited. During this time if anything goes wrong with your Porsche through no fault of your own, the brand should cover any faults, though it’s important to check the small print if the warranty is a big factor in your car-buying decision.
